Homepage for GSE&IS Administrative Assistants for Education and Information Studies departments

Within GSE&IS, the Divisional Administrative Assistants (AAs) serve as administrative support to the faculty in the Education and Information Studies departments. The AAs act as liaisons between the faculty, students and staff.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the divisions in all administrative responsibilities related to courses and curriculum.
  • Facilitate the coordination of master's and doctoral qualifying exams and the admissions process.
  • Oversee course scheduling and online course evaluations.
  • Process low value orders, purchase order requisitions, travel and reimbursement requests.
  • Coordinate events for colloquia, departmental meetings, and guest speakers.
