About the GSE&IS Computer Labs

GSE&IS provides two computer labs (one virtual) with varying software (see software list below) supported by the Educational Technology Unit. Labs are open to faculty, staff, and students with valid GSE&IS logins. Reservations for the labs can be made for courses and workshops, but anytime the labs are not scheduled for a reserved event, they are open for individual use. The Virtual Lab is generally available 24/7. The Moore Lab is open Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00pm. After hours, they can be accessed with the doorcode provided on your login page.

The Moore 3120 Lab has iMacs which run macOS High Sierra (10.13). Use of the computer labs in the school is limited to full-time GSE&IS students, faculty, and staff, and students outside GSE&IS taking one or more GSE&IS courses for the quarter.

Lab availability is subject to prior reservation. Check the calendar for a current list of reservations.

GSE&IS Lab Printing

Printing changes are coming for the 2020 - 21 academic year.

  • Please don't add print credits to your account at this time as computer labs are not available during remote instruction.
  • Redeeming Print Credits: Print credits are valid as long as the student maintains GSE&IS enrollment. Any print credits remaining at the end of the academic year will be valid during the next academic year as long as the student is enrolled in at least one fall quarter course. There are no refunds for unused print credits, so if you are unsure of your printing needs, please purchase credits in small increments throughout the year.
  • Credit Balance: Any time a student is logged into a GSE&IS lab computer, a counter on the desktop displays the remaining print credits.

If you have any questions regarding printing credits, please contact ETU before submitting a purchase.
