Information about GSE&IS accounts provided by the Educational Technology Unit

The Graduate School of Education and Information Studies' faculty, staff, and students are assigned GSE&IS accounts by ETU. The logon and password for each account can be used for the following GSE&IS services:

Students

Your GSE&IS logon gives you access to the ETU computer labs and print credit purchasing. It applies only to GSE&IS services. For University services such as Bruin Online, Wi-Fi, myUCLA, or CCLE, use your UCLA Single Sign On. 

Undergraduate and visiting students who are enrolled in at least one Education or Information Studies course can set up a temporary GSE&IS account to use during the quarter. Please bring your Bruin ID Card to the ETU office in Moore 3051 to set up a temporary account.

 

Faculty & Staff

Your GSE&IS logon can be used to access your home folder, a 1GB folder of personal storage space on the "staff" or "faculty" server, according to your position. Your logon ID and password can also be used to access your home folder from GSE&IS networked computers, and from off-campus locations. Your GSE&IS logon is also used to access shared folders on the research server and the WebEvent Calendar.
